Eternitytek Apps

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: April 23, 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of ScormEtek ("the App") and any companion services (collectively, "the Services") operated by Eternitytek ("we", "us"). By installing, enabling, or using the App inside Canva, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What the App does

ScormEtek converts a Canva design into a SCORM 1.2 package (a zip containing a manifest, slide assets, a web player, and course metadata) that you can download and upload to a Learning Management System (LMS). The App runs entirely inside Canva's editor; the resulting zip is generated in your browser and delivered to your device.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
  • Upload, author, or publish content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or that violates Canva's own terms of service or community guidelines.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, tamper with, or disrupt the App or our hosted services, except as expressly permitted by law.
  • Use the App to build or distribute malware, or to circumvent the security of any LMS or third party.
  • Impose unreasonable load on our services (for example, by scripting automated publish loops).

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the designs, images, text, audio, captions, quizzes, and other materials you feed into the App ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights necessary to publish and distribute it via SCORM.

When you click Publish, the App packages Your Content entirely in your browser and hands the resulting zip to your device. A short-lived server-side relay may briefly hold the bytes (see our Privacy Policy) solely to work around the Canva sandbox's restriction on direct file downloads.

4. Intellectual property

The App, its source code, its logos, the embedded web player, and the underlying SCORM packaging pipeline are the property of Eternitytek or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to our trademarks, branding, or code beyond using the App as intended inside Canva.

5. Third-party services

The App is distributed through the Canva Apps platform and runs inside Canva's iframe. Your use of Canva is governed by Canva's own terms. The SCORM zips you publish are consumed by third-party LMSes we do not operate; we are not responsible for how those LMSes process, store, or display your content.

6. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that SCORM zips produced by the App will be accepted by any specific LMS, nor that features will remain stable across future Canva platform changes.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eternitytek and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising out of or related to your use of the App, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability under these Terms will not exceed USD $100.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or our supporting services at any time if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued operation would expose us or other users to undue risk. Uninstalling the App in Canva terminates these Terms with respect to future use. Clauses intended to survive (intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, governing law) do survive.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and, where applicable, the state in which Eternitytek is headquartered, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the courts of competent jurisdiction in that location.
